133 Things to Think About Before you Build or Renovate!

YOUR QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE…

Building can be really daunting because there are so so many things to think about!

Where to start!?!

We know that you need to get this right the first time you build. To help you do that, we’ve put together a list to help you get started. This is by no means a complete, but it is a really good start of 133 things that you need to think about before you finalise those plans.

Actually, the earlier you start on thinking about your plans the better! As you will see, there are so many things to think about and sometimes, with new information and different perspectives, things will change over time.

When you build there is such an immense pressure to get things right, to think of everything.

Often we speak to people who have built and they get to the end of the project and think “ekk, why didn’t I think of that, or I wish someone had told me”.

OUR QUESTION TO THEM IS WHO?

Who should be telling people about all the things they need to know when you are building?

The answer is: there is no one person with that role.

By the time you have hired the designer you are already several large steps into the project. That is in fact why we created the “Build Like a BuildHer” course, so there is a guide to help you make your home as amazing as it can be on your budget.

This list of 133 things to think about before you build is a really great start. We really hope you enjoy it and are able to work your way through.
