With unique insight into what’s really going on in the construction industry, he has a deep understanding of the risks people face when entering building contracts, and how they can best protect themselves. In this episode, Cian shares his thoughts on how tradespeople and owner-builders alike can better educate themselves when it comes to the fine print of building contracts.
As we tend to guide our kids towards university and away from trades, we often see a lack of sound education for tradespeople around business matters. We talk about how being good at your job alone is now simply the price of entry – developing a solid set of skills on the business side is crucial in really seeing a business grow.
