social content & partnership manager


We're looking for an enthusiastic, bubbly person to join our small team as Social Content & Partnership Manager in Melbourne. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality engaging content across all social channels and multiple digital touchpoints.


This flexible full-time role is integral in bringing the BuildHer Collective brand to life across owned and paid channels including, paid and organic social media, and website/blog content, by creating exceptional quality content that drives awareness, engagement, and ROI. You will work closely with the rest of the BuildHer team and be responsible for planning, conception, content creation, copywriting, as well as scheduling, and day-to-day management of social media channels. You will also work closely alongside any Partners to make sure content obligations are met and fulfilled.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities


  • Content Planning - Develop an engaging content calendar that brings to life the BuildHer Collective brand pillars and engages all digital marketing levers, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. Create content fit for purpose and channel. 
  • Social Media Management- Plan and execute the social media calendar, working collaboratively with the team to deliver engaging and compelling brand content across social channels. Provide regular reporting on creative effectiveness, and insights. 
  • Paid Media – Manage the production and delivery of all paid media creative assets to our digital marketing agency to drive brand awareness, consideration, and conversion. You will work closely with our digital marketing agency to understand creative asset requirements and manage the planning and production of all assets. BONUS if you can run & manage ads yourself. 
  • Copywriting – Plan, brief and manage copywriting requirements for all content including blogs and social media captions. 
  • Have a high understanding of both premium brands and social trends to recommend social media content based on competitor and industry insights. 
  • Community Management – Engage with fans and bring to life the BuildHer Collecting personality through our fan engagement. Reposting high-value content across channels. 
  • Video Content production – Create engaging video content that can be used across stories, reels, Tiktok & Pinterest including filming, editing, and publishing. 
  • Partnerships – Work closely with any partnerships to ensure the content obligations are fulfilled.

Knowledge / Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 Years agency or client-side experience
  • Highly organised with an ability to multi-task
  • Flexible in work days / times (we do some events on weekends and weeknights)
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • A good understanding of paid media
  • Ability to proof-read and check your work
  • Confident with technology
  • Ability to think outside the square and an eye for detail for premium brands
  • A solid understanding of social media marketing for business and trends
  • Have a creative mindset and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in managing, planning, and creating content on digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging relevant platforms)
