While there are some that repeat 'sustainable' like some kind of zombie mantra without much to show for it, the hunt for resourceful methods, a push for change and a decrease in consumption underlie everything Brave New Eco do.

Megan is one of those all-in creatives that recognised a passion, and went for it. She enjoys keeping more than a finger on the pulse of all possible tangents of her chosen field. As Founding Director and Principal Designer, Megan is an Interior Designer, Permaculture Designer, and Sustainable Design Consultant by trade. If that's not enough of a moutfhful, visiting Megan's background means delving into permaculture teaching, set decoration and artistic direction for film + tv, and work as a home sustainability assessor before beginning her firm. But what is Brave New Eco?

On the surface, an interior design + decoration business slash renovation and retrofit design firm

At its core, and practically seeping out of its pores, is an emphasis on reuse, quality, and a strong passion for permaculture. The team seek value in existing buildings, and work to restore, preserve and reinvigorate where possible, rather than demolishing, binning, and starting again - they see too much waste in this world to be at peace contributing to a pile up of materials hastily discarded. Reducing the environmental impact of humans is their day-to-day.

Megan his instilled this ethos over almost a hundred homes, and a fourteen year career, with a lean towards medium and larger scale builds on both a residential and commercial scale. No rookie, she's serious about creating beautiful spaces that are healthy for people, and for the planet, too.
