Lauren is the brains and energy behind Sisalla Interior Design. Launched solo in 2010, and joined by her husband in 2016, Sisallla has a practical and transparent approach to Interior Design. An out of the box thinker, Lauren recently opening an apartment-style showroom in South Yarra that allows clients to enter a home-style environment to get a real idea of the application of ideas, from furnishings to textiles and beyond.

This appointment-only showroom space is rather extraordinary, and a perfect example of her ability to work with colour and texture to deliver a different final result every time, depending on client needs. Lauren also sells many of the pieces from 'The Apartment' via the Sisalla website, giving everyone the opportunity to add a little Sisalla style to their home. Her website is an interactive and regularly updated space, where Lauren takes the time to blog, share her projects, and share her take on all things Interiors, whether it's designing rooms for ghosts, or arguing why Melbourne is the design hub of Australia.

Lauren's creation of 'The Apartment' was partially for clients, and partially to create a space to bring the design community together. In line with this concept, Lauren runs workshops for Photoshop and InDesign out of 'The Apartment' to guide those on the beginning stages of their industry journeys into the best use of current and widely-used tools.
