Ania Forster is surrounded by building + design. One half of sister design duo Zephyr + Stone with sister Kasia, in perfect symmetry, the pair both head the design departments of their husbands' building firms. Born in Poland and raised in Melbourne, the sisters and their families now live on the Gold Coast, where Zephyr + Stone was born. 

Influenced by the Nordic design of their European origins, Zephyr + Stone's aesthetic is minimalism of the luxe variety. Kitchen, bathroom + laundry are their expertise, and based on their Instagram alone, we can see why! Clean lines and matte finishes with neutral colours expand the spaces they work on; and on-site they are frequently, preferring to work closely with architects and clients from the beginning to end of the build process.

Ania is famous for the sleek cabinetry which is fast becoming a signature of the Zephyr + Stone style, while Kasia's passion lies in styling and furnishings - the perfect sibling balance. In a complimentary and savvy business decision, the sisters are also launching into product styling.

Rather than renovations, new builds are their bread + butter - which could intimidate the renovator, but instead, their website's blog is an informative how-to that shows an accessible side to their projects for us watching at home. Just like our BuildHer team, these ladies seek to inspire and educate with a hands-on approach, handy hints, + easy to devour content.
