121 PEOPLE…

DID YOU KNOW THAT’S HOW MANY IT TAKES TO BUILD A HOUSE?

How many people does it actually take to build a house? We’ve crunched the numbers and we have a number. 121. That’s a lot of people, right? You’ve got labourers, apprentices, electricians, plumbers, carpenters. Then there are the insulation workers, landscapers, security people, glaziers, corkers, tilers …. Just to name a few.

Managing that many people with their own personalities, emotions, priorities and commitments, is it any wonder that there might be some minor hiccups along the way? In this episode, we’re giving you some insight into who those people are, what they do on-site and what their lives might look like. We talk you through how to maintain those relationships and understand the roles you play in managing your build. We also share a personal story from one of our BuildHers about the warning signs to watch out for.

A lot of people with a lot of emotions, a lot of pressing priorities and a lot of different jobs going on the go. It’s a tough job to stay on top of it all. But, it’s also what makes it so much fun.
