As the real estate market continues to evolve, homeowners are looking for new ways to add value to their properties. One emerging trend is pre-sale renovations, where homeowners invest in renovations just before putting their homes on the market.
WELCOME TO SEASON 5 | EPISODE 17
Uplifting your property value with pre-sale renovations
WITH KRISTEN JACKSON FROM WEALTH HOUSE
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PRE-SALE RENOVATIONS?
Undergoing pre-sale renovations is a strategy that can help attract more buyers and uplift the property value. Today I’m chatting with Kristen Jackson, founder of Wealth House, to discuss this growing trend and her experience working in the industry.
IN THIS PODCAST WE ARE TALKING ABOUT
Kristen Jackson is a real estate expert with a background in renovating properties. After moving to Australia with her husband, she discovered an emerging market for pre-sale renovations. Her company, Wealth House, partners with homeowners to help them renovate their properties before listing them on the market. In this episode, we talk about the benefits of pre-sale renovations, the challenges homeowners face, and the potential impact of this trend on the real estate market.
While pre-sale renovations can be beneficial, there are some hurdles that many homeowners face. One of the biggest challenges is the cost of the renovations and many homeowners simply don’t have the capital to invest in a renovation project. Another challenge is the time it takes to complete a renovation project, which many homeowners don’t have. By partnering with a company like Wealth House, homeowners can overcome these challenges and make the necessary renovations to attract more buyers.
Kristen shares how she helps homeowners identify the areas of their homes that need improvement and how to add value to their properties. We talk about the importance of understanding the target market and the style of homes that are in demand in a particular suburb, making sure you have a clear renovation plan and budget and, as with any renovation project, why feasibility and due diligence are essential. Kristen also emphasises the huge role of online marketing and storytelling in the sale process and using social media to attract buyers before it’s even gone on the market.
